Music and Lyrics
"Music is what the person seems from outside...lyrics is what he is inside".... I pondered over what Drew Barrymore said in the movie...whether true or not, it sounded beautiful...that reminded me of Soumitra's dialogue in one of Satyajit Ray's movies....I don't recall the name now....with sparkling faraway eyes he had said..."M-e-d-i-t-e-r-r-a-n-e-a-n"...and his fingers were plucking at an imaginary taanpura...as if it was a piece of music...or lyrics...A friend of mine had recently christened me as "Ami"...which he insisted should be pronounced as "Am-e" where "Am" is as in "amicable"....and "ami" in French means 'friend'....and it apparently sounded cute to him...I tried to see the 'music and lyrics' part in it...Parul stared at me while we were coffee-ing at Barista....she thought I had changed...for the better or worse, she was unable to decide...."I can't believe you have started talking like that...you are quite musical these days....sometimes it is the Telegu drawl or it's 'ayyo rameshwara' and now it is Hugh Grant and Soumitra...you know what...I want to see this movie too..."
